PARADE + OPENING CEREMONIES:

Snowboard Week: Saturday, March 30: Wear those Team Hoodies and let’s start to meet as a group by the rock climbing wall in Center Village between 4:30 – 5:00 pm. We strive to be last in parade line so we can leave easier after to go eat pizza together as a series (see below about pizza).

Freeski Week: Saturday, April 6: Wear those Team Hoodies and let’s start to meet as a group by the rock climbing wall in Center Village around 4:30 – 5:00 pm. Again, we try to be last in line in the parade (see below about pizza).

PIZZA for our COUSASA Series’ Athletes & Coaches: Immediately after the Opening Ceremonies, we’re gathering as a series to stoke the kids out with a little pep talk and give them pizza courtesy of Central Oregon USASA. Please let us know a head count for your athlete(s), as well as any allergies or special needs by Saturday 10 am please. As you’ll find out, everyone is pretty busy chasing kids around at Nationals, so this is a solid time for us to all be able to see each other and hang out for a bit.

TEAM APP series’ access groups and nationals teams: Starting after this update, we’ll be communicating via our series’ groups specifically for Nationals and our series only.

Did you get access to our “COUSASA Snowboard Nationals” and/or “COUSASA Freeski Nationals” Team App groups? We have these so we don’t send updates to our entire membership, but only to those who want specific updates regarding USASA Nationals, and again, only for our series. To add this group from our series’ Team App, open your Team App/profile, go to your Settings on the top right, click on Access Groups, then click on the group to add.

To access the “2024 National Championships” team, simply add the group and request access.

Remember there is about 20 or so pages of info about USASA Nationals. There are usually some awesome, scheduled talks and gatherings with Olympians (all former USASA athletes) that they’ll put on during Nationals that you should definitely check out!

Daily Competition formats and Schedules are confirmed nightly during the Team Captains Meeting with coaches (TCM). Schedules will posted on the Nationals Team App too.

LIFT TICKETS
Competitor tickets are not included in the entry fee, but are available for $99 for the entire week! These special event competitor tickets are purchased on-site only, with proof of credential and bib. Tickets are not for resale.

Copper Season passes and Ikon passes are valid for competitors.

Discounted lift tickets for friends and family will be available at the below rates:
F&F 1-day lift tickets:  Adult (18+ yrs.) $114.00  Child (5-17 yrs.) $79.00
You can pick up friends and family vouchers at event registration.

FOOT PASSENGER LIFT TICKETS: Foot Passenger Lift Tickets are available to access the Alpine and Slopestyle Venues. Some limitations. Cost: $25 pp/day. See page 5 for details.

COMPETITOR LANE ACCESS: If you have an IKON or Copper season pass click this link to add competitor lane access for free! Summit Stage

If you’re already within Summit County, you can ride the free Summit Stage bus to/from Copper from 6:30 am – 11:00 pm daily with stops at Passage Point and East Village: https://www.summitcountyco.gov/586/Transit-Summit-Stage IN RESORT TRANSPORTATION
Free Resort Shuttle Service

7 am −10 pm, Daily Service covers Center, East and West Villages (including Passage Point, Woodward Barn and Athletic Club), and Alpine Parking Lot. 
 
Copper Coach Dial-A-Ride Service 8:30 am – 10 pm, Daily Please be ready when you request your ride. Please be watching out for The Copper Coach which should be at your location anytime from when you place the call to within 20 minutes.  All rides should be requested via TrackMyShuttle. Full details are provided to Homeowners and Guests by their HOA or Lodging Company. Parking

Wheeler, Ten Mile, Beeler, Chapel, Union Creek and Powder lots are paid parking 6 am-2 pm. Flyer lot is parking passes only. Parking in Alpine Lot is always free of charge. Athlete Check In: Location: Upper Level, Copper Conference Center (mountain-side).
