USASA Season Launch
2024-2025Hello Central Oregon USASA family! The time has almost arrived…Event Registration! 🙌🏽
Thanks for your patience as this season there will be a lot of “new” with the website, LiveHeats, live scoring and more, and there’s a learning curve. We’ve got some very important info below regarding this season, changes, membership, registration, LiveHeats and events in general, so please read this in its entirety.
HALFPIPE
What you maybe noticed missing in our events schedule for the first time ever is that we don’t have a Halfpipe unfortunately. Mt. Bachelor let us know about this and they have their various reasons. We are looking at options and even possibly getting creative, so stay tuned. We’re also hoping for the best and that maybe something will change, but as of right now, we were able to add more rail jams in its place (which is the hardest to qualify for at Nationals).
MEMBERSHIPS
Please login to
usasa.org and Join Now and double check that your membership profile is correct, and that you don’t have more than one profile (search your name). Also, ensure ALL your information is correct and/or updated. You have to be current with your membership status in order to register for USASA competitions.
FREE memberships for 8 & under.
Also, check that you’re in the correct Age Group and Sport (Freeski or Snowboard)? Are you doing, or wanting to do Open Class and need to switch your age group? We can’t change an athlete’s profile or status, including to Open Class – so you’ll need to do this on your side prior to competing in an event. Before switching to Open Class, please READ all information in the USASA Rule Book (section 102.04 and 102.5) pertaining to changing to Open Class, because you can’t change back until the next season.
Are you 18 or older (OR…turning 18 during this season), then you’ll also need to get your USSA Membership too, and complete the steps for Safesport (which includes a background check, so don’t delay on this since it can take time). This process is part of your USASA membership, so follow those steps.
REGISTRATION
Our series will open registration at 6 pm with the Mt Hood Series (PST), November 20, 2024, to spread out the crazy online traffic tomorrow, and we’ll bring some of our West Coast vibe.
Our series also offers FREE event entry for Rascals, Kekoa and Para.
After getting your membership, you can register by going to
www.usasa.org, then click on JOIN NOW, and follow the steps (this will also lead you to LiveHeats which is integrated with our new website). If you’re already in LiveHeats, you can simply search for USASA Central Oregon Series to see our events. You can also click here to access our series registration directly:
www.liveheats.com/usasacoPlease be sure all USASA Memberships (and USSA Memberships if/when required for Open Class and/or 18 and over) are valid BEFORE you register.
Heads up: You won’t be able register for multiple events at once. You have to go into each event separately and register. You also can’t register one athlete for all 6 Rail Jams at one time. However, you can register more than one athlete at a time. For example, if you have 3 athletes you are registering for one Rail Jam, you can register all 3 at one check out.
REFUNDS
Please be aware of the USASA Event Refund Policy –

Our COUSASA 24/25 Events Schedule can be found on our Team App under the Events Schedule button, as well as on:
www.liveheats.com/usasaco and this is now live.
LIVE SCORING
An exciting addition across the nation this season, is that USASA is using LiveHeats, and for our series specifically, you’ll go to:
https://liveheats.com/usasaco to view the UNOFFICIAL, live scores (unofficial during the competitions and events UNTIL APPROVED BY THE Head Judge + Technical Supervisor).
If you are in a pinch and are having issues beyond what you can fix with any of the above, reach out to us or USASA’s National Office support at:

If you’d like to volunteer with us this season, please let us know so we can connect:

Did you know that we’re a legit 501c3 nonprofit? In fact, we only pay judges, and the rest goes to cover our Hill Fees, USASA fees, Forest fees, gear and equipment (live scoring requires Starlink for example), repairs, food, Nationals expenses and more. We’re barely raising our event fees this year even though things cost more each season. Part of our hope is that you can help us reach out to local businesses and people who would love to partner with a nonprofit that builds into these kids, snow sports, and the community. We do promote on-hill and on our social media, and reach about half a million or more every year. They’re also promoted for a year. Please reach out and make the connection for us, then let us know so we can follow up.
Cheers + shred soon, 🏂☃️⛷️
