Hello Central Oregon USASA Family + Friends!
Just a quick reminder about getting those hoodies and other products ordered by this Sunday 03/16/25. ✅ These are for anyone + everyone who want to support the cause (youth snow sports + our nonprofit + the awesome kids/families we have in our freeski and snowboard program – many of which are going to USASA Nationals)! New this year is that we also have long sleeve and short sleeve shirts, and a good variety of hats too!  ➡️ Again, hoodies are required for our athletes going to Nationals since we wear them in the parade and throughout the week there…but they’re also cool to wear around town and riding this spring (and it’s easier to find one another at Nationals as these help identify our team..and all the other teams and parents wear their series’ hoodies too). We will not have them available at Nationals.

We also have a place on the new Merch Store if anyone is interested in donating extra to help us offer team hoodies to athlete’s who’s families are having a hard time financially, so none of our kids miss out. We likewise like to bless the coaches in our series that are also going to Nationals and all the hard work they put in helping us on comp days. As you can tell, this starts to add up and we tend to lose money doing this…but it’s worth it…so thank you for considering…we all greatly appreciate the generosity out there. 

Last but not least, this season we wanted to raise awareness for youth and young adult suicide. Did you know that this is the second-leading cause of death for 10-34 year olds (CDC, 2023)? 13.6% of adults 18-25 had serious thoughts of suicide in the past year (SAMHSA, 2023). 22% of high school students reported having seriously considered suicide in the past year. Imagine the stats in 2025 (let’s actually not)…so let’s help make a difference out there wearing our products that have the statement on the back: “you matter. you belong.” Maybe this will help make a difference in several lives… 💜

Thanks for spreading the word because we turn orders in after tomorrow night, and that’ll be it for the hoodies (so we get them in time for Nationals). Hoodies also make great gifts, plus they’re just flat out sweet and comfy, and they’re fun colors this year! Oh yeah, only the hoodies will be ready in time for Nationals. The other items will be ready later in April and we’ll notify everyone once we’re closer…thanks!

Take Note: If you will not be here in Bend for pick up around Tuesday, March 25ish, please let us know and we will do our best to find someone to bring it to you at Nationals. Please only include shipping if you live out of the area and/or will not be in town for sure when they’ll be ready and you need them for Nationals. You can try to have them shipped to Nationals, but we’ve found that can also be difficult to do at Copper (but not impossible). We will send out a Team App update + email everyone who ordered products for the pick-up days/times once we get closer to them being done.
