Important: New COUSASA Events Require Registration (No Automatic Forward of Event Registrations)

16 Feb by Adam Brown - Central Oregon USASA

Hey COUSASA athletes, parents, and coaches,
Just a quick clarification because we’ve had a few great questions come in.

Register here for all our current events: https://LiveHeats.com/usasaco

Q: Are athletes automatically moved from the previously canceled events into our newly scheduled events?
A: No. These are new events that have been created and loaded in LiveHeats, and you'll need to register for these...there is no automatic forward of event registrations.

Here’s What that Means:
• Registration: Again, you must register for the new events that are now posted in LiveHeats, even if the event name looks the same (example: Slopestyle 1, Slopestyle 2, etc.).
• Refunds: Again, fees for all previously canceled COUSASA events were issued last week and should be finalized any day now (if they’re not already). Refunds go back to the original payment method.

Why the Event Names Look the Same:
We kept the names the same on purpose and to reduce questions that may arise. Renaming them Slopestyle 4, 5, 6 (without us ever having a Slopestyle 1-3 happen) would have created even more uncertainty.

Team App Reminder:
We're putting all important details in the Team App updates like we normally do (registration, schedules, bib info, discount competitor passes, Nationals, etc.). Please take a minute to read those updates in full so you have everything you need and don’t miss an important detail.

Event Info Update Notes:
We will have the competition info updated shortly for Rail Jams, and we will get the other events' info loaded this week too. The most important thing is that all of our events themselves are now live and registration is open for all of them.

Register HERE for all our current events: LiveHeats.com/usasaco

If you have questions about anything, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help out.

Thank you,
