We want to officially welcome our Central Oregon USASA freeski athletes and families to Nationals at Copper Mountain. Congratulations on qualifying and making it here.

First and most importantly, for those who purchased a team hoodie, you can grab yours from Laura Antonio in the USASA Athlete Room at 9:00 am tomorrow (Sat). This will make things much easier once we get to the parade and avoid having to carry boxes of hoodies around.

There is a slight possibility we may have an extra or two, but no guarantees since we really hoped those planning to come to Nationals pre-ordered theirs so no one would feel left out.

Here are the other important details for tomorrow:
1. Meet at the rock wall in Center Village at 4:00 pm so we can get lined up for the parade, and wear your team hoodies. We’ll try to have our flags up so you can spot where we are (if a few parents and kids can help carry these too please).
2. The parade is expected to start around 4:30 pm with the first team walking. We usually try to be one of the last teams in line so it’s a little easier to leave for the pizza party afterward.
3. Yes…you heard that right! Immediately after the Opening Ceremonies, around 5:30 pm, we’ll let you know where we’re meeting for the pizza party and head over together.
4. Pizza is courtesy of our series to celebrate, and is for the athletes and to thank our MBSEF coaches. Everyone in our series is encouraged to come since it can be hard to connect throughout the week with how busy Nationals gets. It’s a great chance to gather, celebrate, and cheer each other on.
