Why race by yourself when you can race against others…whether you’re a skier ⛷or a snowboarder?!? 🏂 Our next competitions are the: USASA Boardercross + Skiercross 1 by Hydro Flask (Sat), AND then the: USASA Boardercross + Skiercross 2 by Hydro Flask (Sun) at Mt Bachelor / Woodward Bachelor Jan 4-5, 2020 at the Woodward Family Cross zone! Each race has up to 4 riders racing downhill around turns, burms, over tabletops, rollers and small jumps to see who’s the fastest! Prizes for EVERY competitor; awards for 1st – 3rd. We offer 9 & under, and adaptive FREE event entry (membership req’d)! 👍🏼 These comps are some of the most fun events because of all the skiers, snowboarders, families and friends that gather together…as well as the racing of course! See below for registration, check-in and other important details…

(PS – We need a lot of volunteers for these comps if interested in helping.)

Central Oregon USASA events are for ALL ages and stages of riding abilities, including adaptive! Again, these events will be located in the new Family Cross zone (previously known as “Kiddie Park” or Short Sands) that’s near Sunrise Lodge and the Sunrise Chairlift.

> EVENT COST: $30 online per event, $35 day-of (non-refundable), 9 & under & adaptive FREE! (Membership req’d & must be done online). If you’re trying to qualify for USASA Nationals from our series, you must do both comps per discipline to meet the criteria [best 2 of 2 for BX (Boardercross), and best 2 of 2 for SX (Skiercross)].
> REGISTRATION ONLINE ONLY this year + you’ll also save $ per event + a faster Check-in line: http://bit.ly/COUSASA19-20Events ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES at 12:00 pm the FRIDAY before that weekend’s events.
*Check-in and Day-of Registration from 8 am – 9 am ONLY, at Sunrise Lodge, so please keep traffic/weather in mind…and we do get both!).
> FLOW of EVENT (see below)
> AWARDS on Sunday only for both events BXSX 1 & 2) for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for each age group, and they’ll be approx. 1 hr. after the event on Sunday for both events (see Team App updates).
> PRIZES & SWAG giveaway during Award time on Sunday (thousands of dollars of giveaways this season thanks to below sponsors and more coming onboard)!
> USASA MEMBERSHIP Req’d for all riders and is done ONLINE ONLY: www.USASA.org (7 yrs old & under FREE. 8-9 yrs old $50. 10+ yrs old is $125 and covers the entire season, the opportunity to compete in other USASA comps, as well as USASA Nationals. 1 Day Memberships are $35 and are done online and based upon limited availability.)
Take Note: 18 yrs and older must now go through SafeSport per the US Gov’t, so 1 day and day-of memberships are not available for these riders anymore. Thanks for adapting to these newer changes.
> COMPETITION INFO: We’ll have Time Trials (with wireless timing equipment) after inspection and practice runs, and will drop Time Trials according to the Start List. After Time Trials, we’ll bracket the riders and start racing. This is a long (fun) day of racing, so be patient and enjoy the time on-hill.
> Mt. Bachelor WAIVERS are included when you register online for our events.
