Hello Central Oregon USASA Riders, Family and Friends (and soon to be)!

We’re already busy planning and prepping for the upcoming season and should have final competition dates by this potluck! We’re also in the thick of getting all our sponsors lined up for the season which can be a lot
of work, but well worth it! Anyway, Heather Johnson who is one of our awesome volunteers (and is also Hannah and Fletcher’s mom) was kind enough to help put together a pre-season get together for anyone interested in our USASA competitions and/or doing MBSEF Comp Team and it’s next Sunday, Nov. 5 at Sunrise Village Lodge (not the lodge at Mt. Bachelor). Please read the info below from her about the potluck gathering:

With snow on the mountain and a chill in the air, I’ve been dreaming about winter and the fun year we have ahead. I love our Freeride community and we are so lucky to have MBSEF and Central Oregon USASA (COUSASA) available to our kids. Beyond the awesome coaching and comps, our kiddos receive some of the best life lessons through these programs and we feel so lucky to be a part of it all.

In order to kick off the season right, we will be hosting a pre-season potluck (apps and snacks) get together. This will give new COUSASA and MBSEF Comp Team families a chance to meet each other and learn about what to expect in the upcoming season, as well as give everyone a chance to hear from the program directors and coaches on plans for the year. Most importantly, we hope to have a fun gathering to kick off the season. COUSASA and MBSEF Freeride is a tight knit community and team, and we hope this will help new families and old families feel even more connected and supported by one another.

We hope to see you all Sunday, November 5th from 4-6pm. Please bring an appetizer or snack, we’ll have beverages:
